In the absence of God we all pray to police, advises the strange art group Laibach. The destruction of theory-as-such (that particular specialization of theory-as-germinal-spill that privileges genericity as terminal line) does nothing to the reality of etymology: police and axiom are still next to indistinguishable. This may turn to be a wrong turn, but it seems clear (however daring to claim so) that police is axiom-as-such. Note — not the axiom as-such.

Some effort was made before the bombing to establish Theory as article-less — always Theory and never “the” Theory. Claims like that in the new newspeak translate to claims to as-suchness. The as-such is a backstop on the germinal spill of orphan theory. It allows the broken pipeline of theory to push back on its germinal lines in response to time-variant pressure on the pipeline.

Not much is clear on the nature of the pipeline yet. We know the thing by its fruits: it’s that which lets the knights of the as-such to revitalise germinal lines. In plainer words, it enables theory to have definite operational outcomes.
